SilverQR — Refund and Cancellation Policy

This page states, on its own, what happens to your money if you change your mind. It restates §8.4 to §8.6 of the Terms of Service; the Terms are the binding agreement, and nothing here narrows them.

1. There is nothing to pay to try SilverQR

Every new workspace begins with a 14-day free trial of Pro, and the trial asks for no payment method. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund: it ends by itself, and the workspace continues on the free plan, which keeps one venue serving guests indefinitely. You reach a payment only by deciding to.

2. Fourteen days, in full, no reason required

If you are not satisfied, tell us within 14 days of a payment and we refund that payment in full. You do not have to explain why, and we do not ask.

Two ways to ask, both of which reach the same place:

Refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method, normally within five to ten business days. How long the money then takes to appear is your bank's timing, not ours.

This is in addition to any statutory right of withdrawal you have as a consumer under EU or other applicable law, and does not limit it.

3. Who takes the payment, and who issues the refund

Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record for every SilverQR subscription. Paddle is the seller for the transaction, charges the sales tax or VAT applicable in your country, and issues the invoice. We never receive or store your card details.

A refund we approve is therefore paid out by Paddle, to the card or account the payment came from. It cannot be paid to a different one.

4. Cancelling

You may cancel at any time, from Settings → Billing. Cancelling is not the same as a refund, and it is not a switch that turns the Service off on the spot:

If you cancel within 14 days of a payment, ask for the refund as well — the two are separate requests.

5. Changing how many venues you pay for

Pro is billed per venue per month. You may change the number at any time. Increases are charged pro rata for the remainder of the current period, so you pay for the part of the month you actually use. Decreases take effect at the next renewal, and we do not refund the difference part-way through a period — the venues remain available to you until then.

6. Failed payments

If a payment fails, the Service continues while Paddle retries it. If it ultimately cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled and the workspace continues on the free plan under §4. A failed payment is never a deletion.

7. When we would not refund

We refuse a refund in one situation only: where the account was terminated for a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy — using the Service to defraud, to attack it, or to publish content that must not be published. That is stated in the Acceptable Use Policy and repeated here so that it is not a surprise found later.

Ordinary dissatisfaction is not a breach. Disagreeing with us is not a breach.

8. If you think this has gone wrong

Write to [email protected] and say so plainly. If we have refused a refund you believe you are owed, say that too — a person reads it. You may also raise the payment directly with Paddle as merchant of record, and, if you are a consumer in the EU, with the dispute-resolution body available to you under applicable law.
